Otañes is a quiet town located in a green valley. It belongs to the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, located in the north of Spain.

It is surrounded by nature trails which can be traveled on foot, by bicycle, or on horseback. You have at your disposal several beaches, located in Castro-Urdiales, Mioño, Oriñón and Laredo.
